How are the payouts calculated?

The prize pool

The prize pool is calculated automatically: number of players × buy-in amount, plus rebuys (at the buy-in price) and add-ons (at the add-on price). The number of rebuys and add-ons is estimated from the structure's advanced settings; during the game, the timer uses the rebuys and add-ons actually recorded.

The split

The split follows the usual home-game payout table: 100% for a single paid place, 65/35 for two, 50/30/20 for three, 45/27/17/11 for four, 40/25/16/11/8 for five, and so on up to nine places. Beyond that, the share of place k is proportional to 1 / k0.9.

Rounding

Each prize is rounded to the step you choose (1, 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100) to avoid cents. First place absorbs the rounding difference: the prizes always add up to the pool.

How many places should be paid?

Paid places adjust automatically to the number of players, following common practice: 1 place up to 4 players, 2 places from 5 to 7, 3 from 8 to 10, 4 from 11 to 14, 5 from 15 to 18, 6 from 19 to 23, 7 from 24 to 27, then about 20% of the players (15% above 100). You can still change the suggested value. The details are in the tournament guide.
